NToM #13
This issue has a bit of grunge influence in the first two singles so I’ve thrown in an all time fave post-punk album and a dark singer/songwriter track to round it out.

New Track
Track – Carsaig
Artist - Black Foxxes
Genre - Alternative/Indie, Grunge
My take – New single from these guys which reminds me a bit of 90s grunge rock. Their past albums are great and it looks like a new one is on the horizon.
New Track
Track – Blast of Silence
Artist - O.R.k.
Genre - Prog, Hard Rock, Grunge
My take – Another 90’s grunge influenced band that also leans towards prog and heavy metal that sounds at times like Alice In Chains. I will be reviewing one of their past albums in another issue.
Fave Album
Album – Container
Artist - The Wants
Top Tracks – Container, Fear My Society, The Motor, Ape Trap, Clearly A Crisis
Genre - Post-Punk, Dance, Art-Pop, Alternative
My take – This one ranks up there with my favorite post-punk, dance party albums of all time. If you like Depeche Mode, B-52’s, Talking Heads, The Cars, you will dig this album. It has been 4-years since they debuted with this one and they have been updating their social media profiles so I think 2025 might see another album drop. I couldn’t be more excited.
Fave Track
Track – No Grace
Artist - Christian Kjellvander
Album – About Love and Loving Again
Genre - Alternative/Indie, Singer/Songwriter
My take – A dark and brooding song from this alternative singer/songwriter that evokes emotion through a slow, rythmic track that bites, without ever breaking skin.
