My take – The final album from one of my favorite rock bands of the last decade. They released this album and immediately announced they were calling it quits. This album is a mature evolution of the same raw energy we saw on Columbia, which is a stellar punk debut.

Fave Album
Album – Michael Kiwanuka
Artist - Kiwanuka
Top Tracks – Rolling, Hero, Solid Ground
Genre - Neo-Soul, Funk, R&B, Psychedelia
My take – A very modern take on soul and R&B with a polished sounds and understated yet compelling vocals. Another all-time fave album of mine with his next LP expected in December.

Fave Track
Track – All We Have
Artist - Melt Yourself Down
Album – Pray For Me I Don’t Fit In
Genre - Alternative/Indie, Post-Punk, Funk, Jazz
My take – Horns and funky bass lines and afro beats dominate this track and their sound as a whole. But it is hard to put these guys in a single genre. This is just a taste of what they have to offer.
