My take – If I had a yacht to lounge on during a warm summer evening, this is one of the albums that would be on my playlist. If Hall & Oates, Sade and Daft Punk had collaborated, this is what they might have come up with.

Artist - Harmony Byrne
Top Tracks - I Never Played The Game, Sweeter Than Sugar, Come Down vs. Calm Down, If I Needed You
Genre – Alternative, Indie Rock
My take – Gritty voice, with songs spanning multiple genres across the album. At times she reminds me of early/mid 90’s PJ Harvey and Fiona Apple.

Album - The Disappearance Of The Girl
Genre – Alternative, Indie Rock
My take – A song that begins with Phildel’s angelic voice singing a capella then builds to a killer bass line and introduction of drums. It ebbs, flows, builds, falls and is super enjoyable from the first note to the last.
